Baby Unit

The baby unit is for children aged from 3 months to around the age of 2 years, this is development based on the individual. Each of the rooms have a board dedicated to the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and explains to the parents the relevance of the curriculum to their child at the age they are. The children from the baby Unit have access to the garden as much as the older children as part of their daily routine. A routine is used as a base or guide for the day to give a form of structure to the children, however, due to the age of the children each child’s own individual routine is known by the staff and worked too, eventually adapting it to the routine followed by the nursery when it is appropriate to the individual.
